Baia Mare has an airport (http://www.baiamareairport.ro/) that, for the time being, is not opened for international flights, the only connection from abroad being via Bucharest (Otopeni Airport: http://www.bucharestairports.ro/ or http://www.aeroport-otopeni.com/).
